Core Value: TEAM

Creating a Strong Team Culture

We made “Team”, one of our core values because here at IQV, we realize everyone in the organization is a critical part of the Team, and respect and support them to that end. We take working as a Team pretty serious and encourage it through out the day. We like to take pride in working together to come up with solutions, so that at the end of the day no matter if we succeed or fail we all know we will have each others back to try again until we succeed.

See what our Team Members have to say:

“My Favorite Core Value is Team. Team to me is like Love, when there is love everything you need is there and everything falls into place. Same as Team, if everyone works together and is there for one another, everything will fall into place.”

Fredy Rodriguez

Superintendent

“Team is the most important core value for me. When people work as a Team, it shows how passionate you and your Team members are in the sense of providing help. Team work also shows that there are more passionate people trying to have the product/end result be a successful one, rather than just yourself. Working as a team also builds Trust, friendships, and it shows the support of all the Team members. In addition, everyone has their own work place values and as a Team you all put your work place values together in order to succeed and be successful”.

As a company, we try to make time to have Team Building programs in place to help us be more of a Team and be able to work better with one another. We support Team building activities by having quarterly birthday lunches, potlucks, and after work activities to be able to bond as a Team.

Team building at IQV has brought our Team Members together by encouraging collaboration and teamwork. These activities, even if it is a simple lunch, are focus around Teamwork and are meant to help Team members see each other in a different light, which can allow them to connect in a different setting. These activities ask the question of how can implications of these activities be used at their workplace, so that they can strive to become better.

In addition, one of the most powerful reasons for team building is to get results. Through a series of planned team bonding events that are fun and motivational, teams have shown to improve and build skills like communication, planning, problem-solving and conflict resolution. Team bonding activities has proven to facilitate long term bond through fostering genuine connections, deeper discussions and processing.

With that said, what is our next team building activity?

Stay tune to find out…
